Successful participation of EuropeSpares at GITEX

Between the 17th and 21st of October our team at EuropeSpares participated at the GITEX Global in Dubai. It is one of the biggest tech events in the world and is held at Dubai World Trade Centre. This year GITEX Global had over 3500 exhibitors from over 140 countries – and EuropeSpares was one of them!

As one of the largest e-commerce distributors and wholesalers of mobile phone parts in
Europe it seemed fitting to exhibit at this year’s GITEX event. For five days our team
networked, educated and learned from fellow tech colleagues from all around the world.

GITEX Global 2021 – let’s get back to real

The GITEX Global is an annual consumer computer and electronics exhibition that takes
place in Dubai. This year marked the 41st year of this undisputed tech event, which got
launched back in the 80s. With life slowly getting back to normal this year, GITEX launched
their event campaign with the tagline let’s get back to real, making it possible for people in
the industry to gather at the Dubai World Trade Center, in person, together – at last!

Due to the pandemic, most of the exhibitors had not seen such a big crowd for more than 18
months. “There was a lot of excitement in the air and people were obviously ready to see
each other and connect face to face” our CEO Yusuf Kaya reported. “After such a long time
not being able to meet up with our customers in real life it was an amazing experience to do
that and build new connections with people you would otherwise not have met” he continues.
It was definitely time to get back to the biggest live event of our industry!
